Booking and Payment
All car rentals must be booked online through our website. To confirm a reservation, a small prepayment is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is paid directly to the rental company at pick-up.
Depending on the selected car, payment at pick-up can usually be made using:
- Debit card in the main driver’s name
- Credit card, if required by the rental partner
- Cash payment for selected vehicles
Accepted payment methods and conditions are clearly shown on the car details page before booking.
Deposit and No Deposit Options
GoCar Almeria offers both no deposit and low deposit car hire options. If a deposit is required, the amount and payment method are displayed in advance during the booking process.
No deposit means that no security amount is blocked or charged on your card at pick-up. Low deposit options usually involve a small refundable amount that is returned after the rental period, provided the vehicle is returned in accordance with the rental agreement.
Driver Requirements
The main driver must meet the minimum age and driving experience requirements specified for the selected vehicle. These requirements vary depending on the car category and rental partner.
In general, drivers must provide:
- A valid driving license held for the minimum required period
- A valid passport or national ID
- A payment card in the driver’s name, if required
An International Driving Permit may be required for licenses issued outside the European Union. This requirement is always shown on the car page.
Insurance and Liability
Basic insurance is included in all rentals. Coverage details, excess amounts, and optional additional insurance are displayed clearly before booking.
If additional insurance is selected, it may reduce or eliminate the driver’s financial responsibility in case of damage or theft. Insurance coverage does not apply if the rental terms are violated.
Vehicle Pick-up and Return
Cars can be collected at Almeria Airport or at city locations, depending on the selected vehicle. Pick-up and return details, including opening hours and meeting instructions, are provided after booking.
The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as received, excluding normal wear and tear, and with the agreed fuel level.
Cancellation Policy
